Why am I suffering?

A question that has been asked for thousands of years. But does your suffering have a meaning and what can you learn from it? As your psychotherapist my role is to help you examine and explore your life and struggles and by understanding them be in a better place to make meaningful decisions about your future. I cannot make decisions for you but can offer to be alongside as you make your own choices.

I offer a safe and containing space in which we can bring to light thoughts, feelings and issues which are sometimes hidden from view but never the less make their presence known in different, and sometime troublesome, ways. By linking your life’s journey to our relationship and our discoveries in the room you can perhaps better understand what is happening in your life. These three aspects can provide insight and understanding of your struggles and enable you to make better decisions about your life. I also work with counselling and psychotherapy trainees as part of their journey into becoming therapists.

A Confidential Space

Sessions take place in a safe and confidential environment near Rickmansworth. A “well-sealed” container close to a river where your thoughts, feeling and emotions can be expressed freely and openly. I don’t judge but listen to you with empathy and sensitivity.

Share your issues...

All of us encounter difficult times in our life that can be hard to comprehend. We may experience depression, anxiety, difficulties in relationships, and lack of purpose in life. Working with me as your therapist can provide you with the tools to better understand and deal with your situation.

Make better and more authentic decisions

By bringing the unconscious and unknown parts of you into the light they will cease to direct your life and you will feel more in control. You will gain insight into your situation and be better equipped to make more realistic life decisions.
